Stalemate

He seemed a little shaky. Flaky at best. But I put my bid in anyhow.

Guaranteed success was doubtful. A mouthful of words, yet no benchmark in plan.

The logic behind it was debatable. Facts totally inflatable. Nevertheless, the promise seemed a rainbow to me.

He should have been suspicious. The plan was quite dubious. Yet and still, I was all in.

Our true motives went unquestioned. Intentions were uncertain. Not the slightest slip.

Pay dirt will be problematic. Collection emphatic in the force that will be used.

He can’t perpetrate a perpetrator. I can’t defraud a fraud.
